Our History:

The Women’s Resource Center was incorporated as a not for profit organization in September 2003. The initial group of women, who themselves had overcome personal struggles, reached out to other families by giving hope, support and knowledge of resources that had worked for them. We served 100 families in the first year of operation.

We continue to meet the needs of individuals in our community, now serving more than 5,000 per year. We work one on one to help families establish stability in their lives, and meet basic needs to help them reach their goals.
